There’s a new craze in the wedding world, and it’s speaking to the carefree couples out there who want a gorgeous wedding but don’t want to stress out planning for months. Some are calling it a “pop-up” wedding, an elopement style wedding, or a mini wedding. At the HayLoft we’re calling ours a Boutique Wedding and we’re so excited to be bringing this opportunity to our couples!
So what is a boutique or pop up wedding? It’s an intimate gathering (at HayLoft we say 30 guests or less) of your closest family and friends to witness you and your love say “I do.” We include the space, the officiant, a gorgeous bouquet and matching bout, a super talented wedding photographer, apps for you and your guests, and a 6 inch cutting cake to send you off! Two hours to tie the knot, snack with your guests, take some amazing photos on our 100 acres, and you’re done. All you have to do is send the invites and get your marriage license!
What are the pros? There are so many! No meetings with endless vendors, comparing prices and menus and quotes to try and decide the best deal. You pay one lump sum, and we take care of the rest. We will pay the vendors for you- how easy is that?? We still give you some creative license though, to make sure your wedding is “you.” Tell our florist what your color scheme is, and choose from three different styles of bouquets for her to create. Choose two hot and two cold apps from a list of eight to serve to your guests. And your cake? Vanilla or chocolate, it’s your choice!
Let’s talk about your photos- professional wedding photographers are so talented, but we know it can be pricey to hire one for an entire day. Our boutique wedding includes ceremony photos and a 45 minute private session with you and your mate before the ceremony, anywhere you’d like to go on our 100 acres! It’s a step up from the courthouse, that’s for sure.
So what does a typical Boutique Wedding at the HayLoft look like? Your two hour time slot begins when you arrive for your 45 minute photo session with the photographer. In the meantime, your guests will begin to arrive while house music plays in our beautifully restored Stables. After your photo session is over, your simple ceremony will begin! Your chosen song will play as you walk down the aisle, and our officiant will perform a 15 minute ceremony. Congrats- you’re married! Enjoy apps and non-alcoholic beverages with your guests, then cut your cake as a send off and you’re done!
After a Boutique Wedding, some couples choose to go to a restaurant or someone’s home for a nice dinner with their guests, while others call it a day and head out on their own. The choice is yours, which is what is so nice about this option! It’s a perfect fit for the free-spirited couple who wants to tie the knot in a unique and special way.
